Integrated Amplifier – IA1/IB1

Stereo playback of a music signal, from Source to Loudspeakers takes place through two independent amplifier lines. Engineering approach regardless of signal level should cover all the aspects for uncompromising transmission between the individual components. Each module is equally responsible for high fidelity reproduction, and so is the Integrated Amplifier.

Low power Class A Integrated Amplifier designed to provide ultra-low distortion with high-current capability output as IA1 model, or Medium power Class AB Integrated Amplifier designed to provide low-distortion with high-current capability output as IB1 model. Although conceived as a complete unit, the performance of the Integrated Amplifier is not compromised at all. The preamplifier section here also follows the provision for modular signal transmission. Adequate electrical insulation between the Source and the build-in Amplifier, as well as between other Sources connected is achieved. The music signal contour reproduced by the Source, is faithfully delivered to the output in its natural form with quantity required for any demanding Loudspeaker.

In our modular concept of transmission, with respect to the independent modules as individual stakeholders in the final performance, we treat the functionality of each one with special attention.

Therefore, final construction of our Integrated Amplifier is composed of separate modules in two independent lines, with respect to left and right channels as individual.

Interface is located on the rear panel of the Integrated Amplifier. Top quality NEUTRIK signal connectors for the left and right side symmetrically placed, directly through and through connected to the input PCB module for the shortest signal path to state-of-the-art BURR-BROWN Buffer Amplifiers and input switch consisting of special signal relays.

WBT NextgenTM speaker terminals mounted on a 10mm aluminum base and connected directly to build-in amplifier PCB. Direct connection to the amplifier without internal wires further increases the damping factor and improve coupling with Loudspeakers. XLR Main out is compatible for Bi-Amplifying with any teoharov Power Amplifier.

On central position, mains power provided by FURUTECH IEC Inlet directly connected to AC transformers filter PCB module. Specially designed Neutrik RowerCON achieve DC Power connection between audio and supply chassis.

Knob selector in OFF position provides two trigger outputs to control stand by condition of external amplifiers.

Output signal from each of the devices in the audio chain is the energy received from its power supply reliably following the music input signal. Therefore, we give great importance to this module.

Top-notch Power Supply construction realized as two symmetrically independent – left and right channel sectors. Two mains toroidal power transformers, huge banks total of 108 pieces low ESR capacitors and AC passive filtering on primary and secondary voltages. All of this provides high current capability and very high damping factor on whole frequency band.

Preamplifier section powered by its own dual – stabilization power supply as two symmetrically independent – left and right channel sectors.

Functional control voltages provided by a third independent power supply with its own toroidal power transformer.

Without exception, as with all of our Amplifier concepts, the Integrated Amplifier is in dual mono configuration, a modular approach to sectors with different functionality.

In addition to the usual features such as line and balanced inputs and outputs, preamplifier also offers XLR Main out, compatible for Bi-Amplifying with any teoharov Power Amplifier.

All of this in pure analog topology where all amplifiers including buffers are in Class-A operation mode. Pure signal transmission and very low distortion build-in amplifier provide high fidelity reproduction, pleasant and indulging sound experience.

IA1 model in Pure Class A operation mode, designed for high sensitivity Loudspeakers or as upper band driver in Bi-Amplifying configuration as IA1 model, or

IB1 model in High polarized Class AB operation mode, designed for low or normal sensitivity Loudspeakers or as lower band driver in Bi-Amplifying configuration as IB1 model.

Thermally and electrically completely sealed chassis made of 10mm CNC machined aluminum is maintaining the performance of the device as specified, without regard to external temperature and electrical influences. Massive heatsinks symmetrically placed on both sides, additionally keep constant chassis temperature with high thermal inertia to external changes.

Тhe current determining class of operation is defined by the thermally sealed chassis, eliminating the need for an electrical feedback loop.

Entire chassis is grounded and electrically separated from audio ground, which ensures noise free signal transmission. Four massive absorbers as a base eliminate microphonic effects caused by external vibration completely.
