Fully active speaker – sealed modular cabinet, with built in DSP as an active 4Way crossover allowing you to tailor make a sound to best fit your listening preferences and neutralize any limitations that might arise in a different listening rooms.
Based on state-of-the-art transducers, designate on a mechanically insulated 15mm aluminum base designed for maximum linearity, in a cabinet free of distortion and resonance.
DSP as a crossover provides accurate mathematical reconstruction of the signal, which is perfectly time aligned. The frequency range covered by this loudspeaker exceeds the need for absolutely High End musical reproduction. Topology and capacity makes it compatible with any type and size of listening room.

Construct in simple straight lines, with proportions for ideal internal propagation of critical frequencies. Modular solid matrix construction made of 30mm hard pressed MDF free from resonance and distortion, finished in a natural wood veneer or pure polyurethane paint.

Front panel made of CNC machined hard alloy aluminum mechanically isolates the mid and high band transducers from the woofer cabinet and with its shape further linearizes the amplitude response, raising the overall performance to the highest level.

Bottom panel made of CNC machined hard alloy aluminum mechanically isolates the sub transducer from the woofer cabinet as well as from mid/high band base, reducing IMD to lowest possible level.

One Long Throw SCAN-SPEAK 232cm2 SUBWOOFER with rigid aluminum cone and SD-2 Motor design in sealed cabined, providing distortion free sub frequency down below 20Hz.

Two SCAN-SPEAK 137cm2 MIDRANGE with coated NRSC fiber glass cone. The NRSC design has the most profound effect on low-damping designs where midrange clarity is preserved while the break-up modes are better controlled.

Two Low Damping SBR SCAN-SPEAK 235cm2 WOOFERS with coated NRSC fiber glass cone in sealed cabinet, provide accurate bass response on both high and low levels of listening.

One SCAN-SPEAK 8cm2 DOME TWEETER with textile diaphragm design is based on traditional electroacoustic knowledge and craftsmanship, shaped with the NRSC (Non-Resonant Suspension Coupling) principle that ensures smooth sound pressure frequency response.

The basic concept is based on the exact mathematical reconstruction of the spectrum determined by the 4 bands. Time aligned in their service area, the separate amplifiers for all 4 bands receive a signal from high-performance DSP, delivering to directly coupled transducers without any passive crossover parts in-between.

The DSP receives analog and digital signals up to 24 bit / 192 kHz. Internally, the DSP works with 24-bit / 192 kHz and therefore it can manage time-delays of 1 sample = 1.78 mm, which is an acceptably small value for a high-end speaker and has not been achieved so far.

The concept and its attributes are based on the direct coupling of the amplifiers with the transducers, delivering the assigned DSP band for each speaker separately. Allowing each speaker to be connected with wires specifically designed for its band, this approach raises the final performance to the highest level.

Given the nature of all speakers as electro-mechanical transducers with very low efficiency, removing unwanted distortions that turn into vibrations and mechanical separation of the speaker from the room is essential for clear sound transmission.
Given the complexity of this speaker and its modular design, the mechanical insulation between the speakers as well as the entire system of the substrate and the room is of particular importance.

Cabinet on which the woofer units are placed is double separated from the ground, while the cover that carries the sub is again mechanically separated from the cabinet with a dedicate aluminum panel, as well as the middle and high band units.

Bottom spikes vibrations are bundled and discharged through four points made of hard aluminum alloy. This type of construction provides an extreme isolation between room and speaker resulting in most accurate and detailed sound.
